The only others I can think of are.....
1. Whitnal park just west of Glenwood and 92nd street. But I think thats technically Hales Corners.
Yup, doesn't count.
2. The old Parkway Stables on 92nd just south of the Parkway. But that might be Franklin. And its really not a barn the original barn was taken down years ago. But you could call the stables a barn if you wanted to stretch the definition of a barn.
Have to take a look at that one. Prefer original barns.
3. There is a house on 92nd street just north of Glenwood that has a barn in the back yard. They used to keep a plane in there.
Hmmm, would that make it a hanger or a barn stormer? Sorry, couldn't resist.
What got me thinking about this is driving from New Berlin to Greendale on Grange I pass a number of barns. But that number is shrinking.
The big red barn at 124th and Grange was restored with grant a few years ago. It was a Sears kit barn, I believe. There's another smaller barn next to it which needs some help. Was in it once - has hand-hewn beams.
You can tell which neighborhood I grew up in.......
Um, the south side?
